Q: How does the Instant Ice Pack work? A: Through extensive research and leading technology, the Instant Ice Pack has been designed to turn cold immediately for emergency use where cold therapy is required. There are 2 layers to the pack; the inner and the outer. These sections contain liquid of different chemical composition and granules. Activation of the pack is simply achieved by firm squeezing which allows the chemicals to mix. Over time, the chemicals within the pack will turn all liquid (no granules will be left). This endothermic reaction will turn the pack cold (5 degrees Celsius) within 3 seconds (yes 3!).   The chemical reaction in the Instant Ice Pack has been calibrated to hold at a temperature around 5 degrees celsius as temperatures below this level can feel excessively cold and cause the user discomfort. As heat helps reduce bruising, relieve pain, soreness, tension, stress and aches in various part of the body, the Instant Hot Pack can be applied when any of this is experienced. It is also useful during the recovery from a procedure or being used daily for sprains, muscle spasms, hernia, insect bites and even headaches.

Q: How does the Instant Hot Pack work? A:  Similar to the Instant Ice Pack, there are 2 layers to the pack; inner and the outer. With the Instant Hot Pack, there are no granules, instead the inner pack contains a non toxic liquid chemical. Upon breaking this inner pack, the liquid contained by the outer layer, will slowly react into a soft solid, which produceds the heat. Up to 55 degrees celsius can be reached by the Instant Hot Pack.
